If I was going to name our children, what I ate most during pregnancy, they would both be named granola. And this is the granola that they would be.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 Tablespoon salt (I use kosher)
3/4 + cup oil (I use sunflower, but could be any oil with mild flavor or coconut if you like the flavor)
7 cups thick cut rolled oats
2 cups chopped raw almonds
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Whisk together: maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt
Once all dissolved together add oil.
Once that is a cohesive syrup add thick cut rolled oats and chopped raw almonds (I use the food processor to chop)
Mix well
Bake for 40-45 minutes at 325 degrees on cookie sheets
